I had a wonderful night. A wonderful night.
I was being mesmerised-truly, madly, deeply- by the beautiful sight of Leonid Meteor Shower. Though I have no companion with me at that unearthly hours, my ipod kept my lonely ears occupied with soothing feelings.
"Have I found you? Flightless bird.."
I felt like swirling around the empty, quiet space, under the greylish black sky with scattered stars- there are shiny ones, faint ones, adorable ones, and the inseparable 3 little, conspicuous stars that formed a short, straight, slanting line.
Lovely mood, wasn't it?
Head looking skyward, arms were wide opened-as if I was about to take a flight and fly towards the very first kind of darkness I want to get close with- while everything, or anything was swirling and swirling around in sync with the rhythm of a song.
The appearance of meteor stars added the finishing touches to the sublime beauty of the night.
One by one, it came in sequence, I can spot a pair in just split second. Sometimes it came all by its own, yet the spark never cease to amaze me.
Make a wish then, that was my friend's calm reply after I shared my happiness like a silly child who had received candy as her first gift.
Yet, I struggled at the attempts of making wishes, when innocent looking meteor star robbed the thought of what I can wish for effortlessly.
I just have to mentally, repeatedly mumbling what I wish for while searching for another surprising surprise in the empyrean sphere.
Disappointment once.
Failed twice.
Regretted thrice.
Finally, the last attempt disclosed a beautiful full stop for the extraordinary night.
=)
I felt as if I am in love again.
Will they remember me? And successfully carried my overweight wishes to fairy godmother?
I hope it did.
