Sometimes, in the midst of your own planning and perspective, it is easy to assume that everyone will think the same way as you do. I guess this was the case for the recent upgrades we implemented on SGC.

As we planned and designed for the changes, we were quite excited with all the new stuff and new layouts and thought that everyone will be equally excited. Apparentlly, we were mistaken.

More than 24hrs have past since the official upgrade of SGC. Barring the server problems this afternoon for a few hours, I must say that I am relatively surprised at how smooth it went. All the careful preparations beforehand actually helped I suppose!

Think there are still some new settings and kinks that need to be slowly sorted out, but I will get that to them in time.

Since 2009 started a few weeks ago, it has been a most adventurous journey. We had embarked on several new improvements and upgrades to SGC and needless to say, along with them came many many sleepless nights and exhausting debugging.

Nights (or I should say dawn) are usually the best time for us to implement changes as that is usually when traffic is lowest. I think coffee runs through my veins now instead of blood!
