A few days ago, I stumbled across this article in Industry Gamers where Hal Halpin talks about the gamer stereotype and how gamers themselves aren’t helping it. (And no, I didn’t know who Hal Halpin was until I saw the article and creepily Googled him. Now you can do it too!)

This got me thinking: what is the gamer stereotype anyway?...

So... I was at the Mascot Parade on Saturday for work stuff and it was fun! (Yes, yes, blogging several days after the event but what to do? Life has been busy. Also it didn't seem to make much impact on SGC so maybe more people here didn't know about it?)
