SINGAPORE: Police have nabbed three men between the ages of 20 and 22 years old for suspected involvement in loanshark harassment.
The arrest came after a member of the public spotted a man splashing paint on a unit at Sembawang Drive.
The incident took place on Friday at about 12 midnight.
After vandalising the flat, the culprit then left the location with two other men in a vehicle but not before the alert member of public took down the vehicle number.
Armed with this information, Police arrested two of the suspects at Old Tampines Road and the third suspect at Compassvale Walk.
Handphones and marker pens believed to have been used in acts of harassment were also seized.
Initial investigations reveal that the suspects were involved in several cases of loanshark harassment in the Tampines, Sembawang and Yishun areas.
If found guilty, offenders could be fined up to S$40,000, jailed up to three years and caned. - CNA/vm

I think the Law should make it compulsory for these offenders to repaint entire HDB blocks that needs repainting, like that can make them learn their lessons as well as save on money engaging contractors to paint the HDB blocks which are repainted every 7-8 cycles.

They should park their get away vehicles far away at least 2 carparks away from the block.
They are really dumb!
On another note, these ppl are really getting ruthless & unethical.
Even the debtors' innocent friends & neighbours are not spared.
