Advice for English O level tutor

I'm taking O level this year and the subject that I'm worried most is English. I need to know how I can maximize the limited time that I have. I'm having a tutor for about 4 months and I liked her a lot at the beginning. But after a few months, I don't know if she can help me anymore or not. Basically what she'd do for compre is to mark my answers according to her model answers. But when I asked her 'why my answer is not corect', I feel that she can't explain well. I mean I don't need a tutor to only mark my anwers, as I can also do the same. For the compo, she would usually find my grammar errors, spelling mistakes and wrong vocabs. But I want my tutor to give me the idea, tell me what to write and some good phrases that I can use instead of the words that I normally use. So, I'm wondering whether it really worths to be paying around 70$ per lesson. Or is it the way that all tutors would teach for English? Is there any tutors that you can recommend? If so, I want to change the tutor as early as possible. Actually, I need a tutor mainly to mark the compos that I do every week, as I write two in a week. Can I ask the school teacher to mark the compo? My school teacher is quite good, but the problem is she's also busy.

I would suggest Moris Allen .. . . . go google it; it's sorta a tuition centre 'cept they teach ONLY English.

i've heard it's good; I wish you all the best for your 'O's! (:
