Personal training incorporates scientific and safe exercise instruction. It helps in having right diets, manages lifestyle and also boosts up motivatinally our personality and behavior. These things in a customized way lacks in generic fitness programs.

Of course expensive I guess... to my knowledge and understanding anything that is customized is always expensive

Very true Faisue.. Many here may not be knowing that personal training is also sometimes known as "an INVESTMENT in oneself"... This mean it is expensive... But remember it is fast track to success and achieving fitness goal.

Yes I have heard this term too. It is one-on-one with a professional, qualified trainer or coach.

There's a center called Physio Active. You can try it. Have heard good review of it. It is on the Raffles Quay and also on the One Orchard Boulevard Camden Medical Centre. Try this phone number... 6235 2647

no no.. it is no more so expensive as thought of... these days the personal training has grown widely in Singapore and hence there's a tough competition among the centers too... so they always try to keep their price tag low to attract more and more customers.

Re: Advice on personal trainer in Singapore?

Guys lots of hot discussions going on here I see about personal trainer. Just remember one thing while choosing for one. Make sure the personal trainer is certified from ACE, ACSM or FISAF.

Yes Daisies.... Also remember that the Fitness Instructor Certificate is not a personal trainer certificate. It is just general fitness one and is relevant to floor trainer in gym.

More important to all these is to ask for few references from the personal trainer about his or her previous clients so you can check the feedback from them.

Even check whether the trainer performs some movement screening to assess posture before coming up with your workout program. Also a thorough health assessment is to be done whether by the trainer or physician.

At the very least, they ought to be a fitness room in most housing complexes. If you want a personal trainer then there are online directories.

Yes, very true. You must always check their portfolio and also talk to whom they have trained. You will get exact feedback this way and land up with one of the best trainers in Singapore in your budget.

The best way to find which trainer is the best is to phone their customers and know the feedback. You will get real review. The certificates may sometime be fake also.
