Re: Is aleoca really lousy?

For your own safety, its better to spend abit more and get a safer bike. You can't put a price on your own well being. I'm not saying u should go out and get yourself a $6000 Trek roadie, but at least get one better than Aleoca. The thing is when you're riding a road bike, chances are you'll be flying through the course. What happens if you're going 60 or 70km/hr and the bike breaks down?

And I wouldn't pay $638 for an Aleoca bike anyway.

Trek Madone 4.5 cost $6888? It costs about US$2000 SRP if bought in US, even if we include all freight costs, tax and profit margin whatever costs in, it still wouldn't cost S$6888 here. And I think u mean $688 for the Aleoca road bike at Carrefour?

Re: Is aleoca really lousy?

Actually aleoca cavallo-breed not that bad i've been using it for like 5yrs till now I have no problem with it, recently i change the rims to bontrager race and im using shimano 105 groupset, quite light though the total bike weight around 9-9.5kg im happy with it now. The brand Aleoca actually depend on the price the more you pay the less problem you have like the other members say, what you pay is what you get to me its a great bigginer rodie i plan to change to felt S22 soon cause i wanna upgrade and ive been using it for like 5 years time to change a new bike ^_^
