Favourite place is home:
1) Friends come over for potluck
2) Get a good dvd and watch at home, blast the sound system. I'm using Bose.
3) Get friends over for majong cum chit chat
4) Get friends over play WII
4) Get friends over for wine and play dogopoly (it's like monopoly)
5) Make a pastry or meal together - increases intimacy and it's quality bonding time
If it's outside:
1) Drive to Kulai (malaysia) for supper
2) Go jogging at pierce reservoir at night then go for light supper
3) Go afternoon / champagne brunch
4) Go terminal 3 makan
5) And all the standard stuff....

go explore mother nature la. can be hiking @ Bt Timah Hill, go treetop trail, go Pulau Ubin cycling..
in fact, u can also go town and explore.. u'll be pleasantly surprised.. there's quite a num of green areas in town..
esp Esplande Park.. veri scenic and quiet. 
e time i went there like going on history excursion trip

I think if really want to not spend money, you can do this:
Morning: Prepare breakfast/brunch(save more $$) with wadever's in the fridge tgther
Afternoon: Play soccer/badminton/basketball at neighbourhood courts or go swimming if living in condo
Evening: Go beach makan + Potluck! (Potluck reduces the spending) and stay till night.
