Any regular gatherings for Buddhists aged 20s?

Hi,

I know some temples and Dharma Centres used to have week gatherings for youths age range from 18 to 30. But for those I know about, it seems that such gatherings are kind of inactive or at least it gives me such impressions.

Does anyone know any temples or Dharma Centres which still have these active gatherings?

Re: Any regular gatherings for Buddhists aged 20s?

Almost each and every Buddhist organisation these days offer some form of a youth membership. In most tertiary schools such as polytechnics and universities we usually can find a Buddhist Society. I was from Nanyang Technological University Buddhist Society, one of my maternal cousins is helping run National University of Singapore Buddhist Society since last semester. About your observation, I beg to differ because I am so stretched thin in a literal sense that I no longer have the spare resources attending some of these meetings, at times I have to give it a miss. Take today and tomorrow for instance if you are more secular than monastic, Firefly Mission which I have been supportive of since graduation is sending a humanitarian relief team to Sri Lanka tomorrow i.e. 3 June Saturday. Buddhist clubs tend to be less aggressive in their marketing campaigns unlike theist organisations, sometimes we prefer doing charity quietly and behind the limelight. This week Sri Lanka is experiencing a cyclone as the news is suggesting, and there are some damages already. Firefly Mission had previously helped built RO water systems there in 2016 with support from the Ministry of Defence of Sri Lanka, these are simple ways in which we build stronger bilateral relationships with our neighbours. If anybody is keen on understanding how such projects work, perhaps you can get in touch with them. I myself just came back from a humanitarian mission at Maesot in Thailand and it is fantastic spending time up in the mountains where chimneys keep us warm instead of air conditioners keeping us cool.
