Re: Any Teambuilding Games to Recommend?

hmmmm.... separate the staff into groups.

Activity 1:
Give each person to blow 1 balloon each, then get them to sandwich the balloons between the back of the 1st person and the front of the 2nd person & so forth, forming a line for each group. They have to cross an obstacle course without using their hands to touch the balloons, yet at the same time cannot drop the balloons. The leader (1st person at the front) and the last person are not blindfolded but the rest of the group is if you want to increase the difficulty level.

Acitivity 2:
Supply each group of 4-6 pax with 2 bamboo or short sticks. They have to lift a ping pong ball, maintain the balance and not drop the ping pong for at least 15 seconds. All group members can only use 2 fingers of 1 hand each to accomplish this challenge.

Activity 3:
Place a prize for each team some distance from the starting line. Each team do not have any props to use except what they are wearing. They have to reach the prize within a limited time. They can lie down etc and 1 person MUST be free to reach the prize without lying down.

Activity 4:
Match 2 teams against each other. Team members buddy up, their legs are tied together in the middle and 1 balloon is tied on each leg. The team members have to step and burst the opposition team's balloons totally to win. The team that survives till the last is the overall champion. This game can be played in rounds or elimination methods.

Re: Any Teambuilding Games to Recommend?

cool! thanks!

last time i played this game:

everyone in the grp form 1 circle. each right hand holds the right hand of the person who is facing u. then the left hands can hold the left hands of any other ppl in the grp. by now, everyone are all bounded and tangled together.

without removing any hands, twist and turn the bodies until everyone is untangled and holding hands while standing in a circle again.

erm.. that's what i remember lah! not sure if i got all the details right. (i'd be darn paiseh if i get my staff all tangled up and everyone got stuck there lor!!)

darn interesting and amazing game.. but i cant remember the details!! anyone who played it b4 and remember the details?

hmmm... this activity is too common, but still can be used. Every school camp also play this lor

Important point to note is slowly get them to untangle and pay attention to ladies who are uncomfortable with close body contact.

Use those games played by school like passing the box, and inside the box are details of what to be performed by the team.

where's the location of the teambuilding day? If we know what facilities and how much space are available, we can think of more suitable activities.

Other less physically demanding activities include:
- Win, Lose Or Draw (draw pictures of a phrase or word) or Act it Out! (Act out the words or phrases)
- Guess who's the criminal! (yeah, detective game)

Re: Any Teambuilding Games to Recommend?

havent confirm a venue yet..

maybe rasa sentosa (but i've tried calling so many times.. this dept routed me to that dept, that dept routed me to the other dept.. the other dept nv answer the call.. zzz), orchid country club (the person said she'll email me the quotation.. 2 days have passed and no email yet.. zzz)..

but preferably simple games that doesnt require the participants to run abt and getting too sweaty.. dun think my staff would like it.

Re: Any Teambuilding Games to Recommend?

Hey Woman try this link, it may give you some suggestions

http://www.wilderdom.com/games/InitiativeGames.html

1 suggestion try to call Rasa and get them to link you to the banquet sales and get the person in charge to contact you if not try to get hold of his/her mobile number. If not drop an email to their general email or the events team email. That should be able to help and try to call them at about the start of the day sure got people will pick up the phone.... In the afternoon maybe they are in the midst of having appointments here and there so no one....

Hope the above helps.....
