I can give you some insight on the class hours.

Between UCD and Murdoch, it depends on your working schedule and the effort you intend to put in.

For Murdoch, lectures for all modules are held every week. This means if you're taking up to 3 modules per trimester, it's 3 days of evening classes per week for around 9 to 12 weeks

And for UCD, it's 20 contact hours per module and classes are held usually on week 6 & 7 of each semester (3 months - 2 modules). Week 1 - 5 is usually self studying and self-research for Pre-course Assignment, Week 6 & 7 is usually set aside for lectures (1 week per module) and Week 9 & 10 is usually the main assignment deadlines while week 11 - 12 is usually for exams.

Can any graduates share what kind of jobs you are doing now?

Not me, but my friend has secured a job even before graduation. He is about to grad in Murdoch University(Major in Accounting and Finance) and found a job in an Accredited Training Organization (ATO) required by SQP programme. Apart from this he claimed to have receive numerous interview invites from top 10 audit firms. Seems good.

Have heard of a few cases myself. I guess this proves that Murdoch uni is not that "unknown" to ATO firms and it takes only 16 months (ideally) to complete this degree. The only downside is that you do not have any long holidays like with other degrees.

I have been told that "in house" diplomas are no good...anyone mind explaining what it means?

In house means they are not tied with a university. your certificate will be under APMI Kaplan Institute. Only if you continue to their degree programmes, then you will be accredited by a recognised university.

if you are taking a HR course i would suggest going to SHRI, it is more recognised, specially meant for HR. Unless you are planning to take a more general type course, then it will be better to go for Kaplan.

I heard that UOL is more towards "solo" work whereas RMIT is more like poly oriented. Is that true?

RMIT is more project based and UOL are more on theories. And UOL exams are once a yr. It depend very much on what course you taking.

I happen to have a friend from Marketing Management and she mentioned the lecturers are quite good They really provide you enough focus points and hints on what to study for the exams. Just do your assignment properly and I doubt you'll get bad grades.

If you're taking it part time, I think it's quite manageable since it's only 1 assignment and 1 exam per module. She didn't take full time because eventually, the part time dip does allow me to pursue my Degree. Moreover part time dips allows her to work and gain experience in the mean time.

Re: Anyone took courses in Kaplan Singapore?

Is BBA a project-based course? or does it consist of 70% exam? I heard that it needs alot of preparation and reading.

BBA consists of assignments and exams. You will have a week to study for exam after you submit your final assignment.

Yes, one of the reasons Kaplan finishes their courses so quickly. You get a one week break after exams though.

It got combined with Supply Chain...now called Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Business with Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

Some years ago I heard they were giving as high as $500, then it was $300. I believe the number is dwindling down quickly with the institute getting more and more popular and no longer needing referrals so badly.
