Default Asian Horror VS European Horror (In Movies)

Did you realize the difference between Asian Horror and European, US kind of Horror Movies & Ghost?

Well, can't see? Actually there is a huge difference.

#1. Asian Horrors Are Based on Spirits, that are once Human while European Horrors are based on demonic spirits that are already dwelling on the pits of earth. (Comparison: Constantine Vs The Ring)

#2. Asian Ghost reflects more vengeful, hatred, resentful and sad emotions before doing something bad to human (scare us) while European ghost reflects a natural characteristics to destroy, kill, and harm (eat human, kill for fun). (Comparison: Dark Waters Vs Final Destination)

#3. Asian Horrors work more on the individual experience/situations of During Alive, Process of Death, and After Death appearance of the Ghost while European ghost in horrors seems to appear even before we were born (like some acient thingly)

#4. Asian horrors cater more to the traditional believe of ghost luring on the earth when it has something undone, or not rest in peace before reincarnating while European demons just comes on earth form hell whenever it wants to destroy lives.

#5. European horror uses barbie dolls (chucky) while asian horror uses wayang, paper and opera dolls.

Thought of anymore differences?

decent analysis u have there! i associate asian horror to more like ghosts / spirits / hauntings while european / american horror as beasts / monsters etc. the latter takes on a more physical form, and it is also more exciting to me!
