AXS or SAM machine USER

Not sure if i posted on the right place o.o~

Just want to share an encounter my friend had recently, especially for those who pay your bills through S.A.M or AXS machine.

My friend was queuing behind a guy who is using the S.A.M machine and he was taking his own sweet time. She took a look and saw he keep pressing the "previous menu" button. Then he decided to let her use first. So when she used it, the screen showed the main menu page. She then proceed with her transaction and pay the bill. Luckily she has this habit of taking a look at her reciept and found that she had paid extra. So she walked away and look, the guy who was using before her, use the machine again, keying in the same amount. She approach him and told him, she had paid his bill. So she told him to wait while she call the hotline number on the machine for help. While she was on the phone, the guy juz quietly walk away, went to the AXS machine not far away.

She had no prove if he did it on purpose, but she got feeling tells me other wise... after he's done on the AXS machine, there were 2 guys using it, she then went forward remind them to check their receipt.
Imagine, if this is true, he might be using the trick every month, people are paying his bills for him. By right, he should have cancel the transaction or exit but instead he keep on pressing the "previous
menu" button until it reach the main menu page...

Moral of the story, check the summary shown on the screen before you proceed with the payment, always check your receipt, if it happens, call the hotline on the machine. They will do a refund for you by
cheque.

This is spam mail la. Lots of urban myths around this days. Saw this in other sites as well, and there are confirmations that such claims are not substantial.

But I tot when you choose your payments, they show a summary of what you are going to pay for? You don't have to wait for the receipt to be printed to see what you paid.

Correct. There is a summary of payment before confirming the payment, so there's no way it can be wrong, unless there's a technical glitch which makes double deduction. But still, it can't be done after exiting to the main screen and using another person's account to pay bills because it needs a password to authenticate the bank account and transaction.

I saw this somewhere and I always check my bill when I pay at these machines.
