BAD SERVICE IN SIM LIM SQUARE " SHOP NAME: PLAY EDGE"

Be carefull of this shop: Called PLAY EDGE 02-59 AT SIM LIM SQUARE.

Extremely Unwanted and Unpleasant experience at shop 02-59 Play Edge

i went in the shop to ask for a modded PSP,a sales assistant attended to me,i shall named him as XYZ as i dont know his name.

XYZ say he is able to give one modded one to me together with a 4GB memory card full of games at the agreed price of $300.
(at this point i am delighted as i th ought i found the right one,never did i expect i am a soon to be slaughtered lamb)

XYZ then take THE psp set out and demand i pay $300 for the whole set.
(due to my alertness and awareness are dropped caused of the delightness of the hard to find felicia blue) i pay him $300
i know my mistake here i really should have check all the things like whether the set is already modified or not before paying

.i re-ask him that SO MY PSP set confirmed can play downloadable games and modified?
he told me that he removed a chip that blocks the capability of playing download games.i just have to load in the m33 software into my psp will do.then it all can be played
now this is fresh and even more weirdo 1st time to hear such things,i already feel that i had being scammed.i argue with him that he initially say the price we agreed is everything modded why now everything is so diff.
he again reassure me that once i download the software and loaded it in,everything will be fine

i left the place as its quite late and went back to Indonesia and try the software.and realise it too late that indeed i am being scammed

The next month, I flew back to Singapore and visit a few shop.
they all tell me my psp forever cant be modded one.high chance i am scammed.

later stage i check with other shops regarding this issue and ponders why XYZ claims he can mod the set.

I went back to the shop again and was complaining to them about that. He shout to me and said F**K. He did that because we are foreigner and we are only 2 girls. Then i took photos of the shop and told him that i will bring this issue to the forum. But i realized that this shop has already bad reputation. hahaha....

i strongly believed its possible as this shop already is so black and the assistant is of no integrity and dishonest,what more is it impossible to happen.

the price i pay for the lesson is severe $300

let this be a reminder for all and myself to think twice and stay alert on everything that u all are purchasing

02-59 Play edge shop is indeed a very black shop,pls avoid the shop at all means.

thank u for giving the heads up...sim lim is the place known to rip of any n every one...there r a couple of shops in sim lim that have a bad reputation...i suggest to do your home work first...before u deal with anymore of those SCUM

actually our psp modded at around $20 - $ 30 (yishun) forgot the price. But no need to dl any software to dl any psp games. So highly, u been tricked or what..?? i not too sure about it also .

Anyway , lucky you alert us .... now i knew already. Thank. They are considered rude for swearing at people. Never mind, you dont have to degrade yourself ... let them be clowns .. i hate people for swearing when they are wrong at the first place

whenever any layman going SLS to buy stuff, must always sake help from those SLS experts, best if that person is your friend. i got conned once at lucky plaza and learnt my lesson = =.

i got my PSP for $500 XD!!!! that was like 4 yrs ago

Thanks for sharing this with us i guess i nvr go to sim lim square and buy things already lots of complains of the shops there. you should report to a organisation that takes in complains on services and shop( i forget whats orgranistaiton already)=x

its better than being conned $2600 for a psp...(this happen b4) do ur research b4 buyin such gizmo... for other ppl who got conned, u mus b laughin now that u had not been conned with a $2600 psp... if u wan to buy psp, gaming consoles, the gizmos, b sure to bring a pro along... if u hav any doubts, u could asked me for advice, to avoid bein conned by such rip-offs...

CASE? u can buy things from simlim... not all shops r blacklisted... Gaming consoles r usually most prone to bein con tools... u can buy other computer hardware, such as ram, motherboard, from sim lim... jus know wat u r doin b4 makin a decision...

no, TS got herself a PSP 2006... most likely to b a version 4.01... the only colours available for PSP 3006 is black, bright yellow, radiant red, silver, spirited green(ugly) n vibrant blue

ehhhh is it got one fat fat de like uncle de ?!?!?!!?? because the shop you say is like the shop i brought from i brought my ds there then the shop keep got my number after i ask him stuff for my friend he start pestering me asking i got boyfriend anot i am 16 he like ucle to me 29 bah ! is like i am him is customer he has no right to ask customer privacy

then second time i go with my friend then is like i act i talking with boyfriend then he pestering my friend !?!
