Battery problem or PSP problem?

I have a PSP slim 2006 model and used it for like almost 4 yrs. And in fact kinda realised that the battery drain out faster and took a longer time to charge and when i din play it for like months and on it back, i have to set the date again. Normally for a full charge is 2h to 2h 30 min. But now is like charging the twice of it. Can someone help me out or tell me if it's the battery problem or the psp itself?

Re: Battery problem or PSP problem?

Definitely battery problem. A rechargeable battery can last a couple of years or about 300-500 charges.
Probably time to change the battery.
