Kuriya restaurant @ level 5, shaw center. not the main building but at the office building. $50-65 per person. depends on what you order.

Akashi at tanglin has the best california mak I've ever tasted while Sushi tei has the best soft-shell crab maki.

i like nihon mura at cathay.

the sushis are good at least the best i ever tried

THEIR BUFFET THE BEST

free flow of sashimi !!!! sashimi also very fresh!

my friend eat their sashimi until want to puke( cox she ate too much)

and their sashimi slices are thick

the only complain is their drinks comes very very very slowly so if you drink a lot in buffet ask 2 glasses at once ( for guys most probably)

their 1 glass is very big so guess girls just need 1 glass , i cannot even finish drinking their 1 glass of beverage

Buffet-still tink kuishin bo best. The few ala-carte ones tried-not good,like hanabi at east coast n one at ue sq..

Ikoi @ Hotel Miramar. Buffet with really good quality and decent variety. About 33++ per person, if I'm not wrong, comes up to about 38?

And Hinamori along alexander road, opposite the PSA Building, has a pretty wide variety and the quality isn't bad too. About 38++ per person.

sushi tei

aiya i am suaku only eat before 3 jap restaurant. among sakae, sushi tei and 日本村, sushi tei wins it

that time ate sushi tei's curry ramen. it tastes nice at 1st, if eat too much, doesnt feel good x.x. seldom eat that haha.

im fine with ajisen...tomyam ramen haha. price not too high XD

for japenses food i really really recommend liang court basement there have many japenese food whivh is very nice it gives u a feeling u r in japan mus go try

For Spicy Ramen, you may want to try Beppu (BieFu) avail at Tiong Baru, Far East Square? and Suntec? You can select how spicy you want the ramen to be.

Ooh this thread makes me very hungry... Im dreaming of all the nice ramen/jap food at Tokyo and Hokkaido. There, the hawkers take great pride in what they are cooking. Even the street's vending machine shop serves great jap food... Wish Im at Japan again
