Beta Testing: Blog Feeds

We know that many of you would like to promote your personal blogs more and hope more people will visit your blogs. Thus as part of SGClub's purpose to help our members, we would like to help your blogs gain more visibility.

We have recently implemented a new feature that allows your latest blog post to be listed under your nick in all your posts. If you go to your 'Edit profile' page, right at the bottom, you should see a new field called 'Blog Feed'. There you can input your blog feed URL, usually with an .xml extension. If you put in correctly, you shld then begin to see your latest blog post title being displayed under your nick.

Some initial rules (subject to change):
- No personal sprees advertising allowed. So if your blog conducts sprees, then sorry, you cannot use this feature. Members who abuse will be given infraction or if widely abused, this feature may be disabled completely as we are still testing to see if this will work.
- No illegal/objectionable content (like sexual/pirated/gambling content) is allowed.

As mentioned, this is still in beta testing, and whether this feature remains depends on the popularity of this function and level of abuse. Rules are subject to change and we will continue to tweak as necessary. But we do hope that his feature will help all of our, particularly those with personal (non-profit) blogs to gain more readers.
