Too bad,saw this thread quite late.Should do research before buying,treat as an expensive exp ba.Got conned by buying a ps3 at SLS Mobile Evolution LLP #02-83.Was told by a guy with golden blonde hair,quite short that the ps3 is local set and with 1 yr sony warranty,they quoted me $300 for the ps3 system which they say is 40GB,then when I want to buy tas it's so cheap hey say all ps3 must unlock in order to play so add $80,a cooling fan is a must so sell me cheap $50 and they give me a bundle got some games online very cheap add $20 more only for 5 games bundle.I was asking where got can download online one no need to pay?They say yes some game is free now and ask me dont live in old age,only some need to pay.The guy look very sincere and talk alot of stuff which make me very blur also not sure what he talking about.So total turn out to be $450,then when I about to pay NETTS its $481.50,I ask why and they say it's GST!I ask why didnt say at first and another guy which look quite fierce with long hair say rest assure they didnt cheat and they registered with the government so it's a must.They ask me to wait 30 mins after I pay to unlock and download games?I go back after half an hour and they do abit of testing of the game they downloaded and test a ps3 game awhile.I then ask about the warranty,they say it's register online under their name,I suspect something very wrong now but cant do anything since I already paid and they say anything wrong can go back.Then when I go back home I found out it's all demo,I feel so cheated then that's where i start to type the shop's name which I saw some inccidents too happened earlier at SLS which they always change name often.I decided to rest the case,telling myself,"at least can play..",but on 3rd day,my ps3 freeze when playing ps3 game and I have to force shutdown as it cant get to the menu using my controller but when I reload it have disc error and cant read disc,so I panic and call the shop,so many times nobody ans.I then go down personally to ask about warranty and they say they only in charge of software not hardware so what part spoileed must pay?I then when home and call sony and give them the serial no since they say got warranty but sony say that model is from Europe so they cant repair even if I pay so I end up reparing at my nearby gameshop which repairing they say is about $100+ depends on which part spoiled..So people,do read and research before buying or end up like me!T.T
