Re: Bikers Territory all dead?

For a major wash, i use the car shampoo and sponge. but have to be very careful about it. I try not to drench the bike in water cuz the water does go into the fairings under the seat and stuff. The previous owner drenched the bike and some screws inside the fairing became corroded. Inside was also stained with 'mud water'. But seldom would I do a major wash unless I go long distance riding. Mainly just clean the front of bugs, swingarm area and under the tail where the dirt kicks up.

For weekly clean, normally i use this:

Just spray and wipe. quick and keeps the surface smooth.

wow.. this is a really dead place. sorry been busy the past month, didn't get to post much.

I actually went 3 times since I last posted here.. 2 days in a row was for the california superbike school and 1 day in Dec, but it was raining on that day. super suay, didn't rain for the past week and on that day it had to pour for the whole day. I only did 1 lap in the rain and took it very slowly, but the back still came out and I quit the session (aka chickened out), packed up and went home as I didn't want to risk crashing the bike.

lol, i nv really follow motoGP very closly but i've always been a fan of rossi.. it's good that he's out of the crap ducati and back with a proper bike n yamaha. but it's a bit difficult to see him as the no.2 rider behind lorenzo.
it's mixed feelings to see marc maquez repalcing stoner.. he's only 20 years old which makes me wonder what i have been doing the past 20+ years.

lol.. Yeah I would definitely recommend CSS, they teach the fundamentals really well and it was easy to understand. Plus it was 3 of us to 1 coach and they follow us around the track to observe and feedback. I enrolled in lv 1,2 and 3.

But the Australian version is a bit different from the original one in the US which is much better IMO and more expensive. They have the skidding bike which lets u feel the bike slide without falling and other cool training aids.

Hehe.. I would love to go sepang again but don't know if I would get a bike in sg, maybe in the far future after I settle down =x

What is MSS btw?

lol.. nono i'm in australia.
CSS has branches in the UK, Aus and India (i think)
http://www.superbikeschool.com.au/sb...ach/the-levels

It's AU$529 per level and there are 4 levels, and if you want to rent the bike it's an extra $365 for a gixxer 600 and $75 for the gear.

The good thing about Aus is that they recognize the sg bike license and there are no classes so long as u have 2b for more than 2 years. I converted my licence with class 2b only and can ride 1000cc, thou i still went back to take 2a.

Wish I could too.. haha, but with big slides comes high sides.

wow.. MSS looks cool man, didn't know m'sia was so happening.

Think you'll probably have to get a track bike as well to get serious. using everyday bike is more expensive and difficult in the long run, though not sure if u can transport an unregistered bike across to m'sia, would be quite troublesome for customs i think.

Ohh.. If you are in melb let me know.

Each session is just 1 day, but it is very packed and rushed. Hardly have any real breaks besides a quick lunch.

Yeah.. Even if sg had a track, don't think it would be open to just anyone also. I think start with track days first ba, are u doing it frequently alr?
