Hi all.

The reason of me posting this is because I want to find people (maybe 3 to 4) to share cost for a stall in Tampines "Flea Market".

The flea market will be held every second weekend of the month.
Im a tampines resident, so therefore, it will be cheaper for me to rent it.
I will show you the receipt as proof and we will split it among ourselves.
I will be selling t-shirts, bags and mask. You can also sell other things. (:
From what I know, the community centre will not be providing tables and chairs.
So, I will try to rent tables and chairs (of course, the rental fee is to be shared unless you will be bringing your own tables and chairs)

The details are below. (extracted from other forum, will call the cc tomorrow and post it up again.)

When will I be booking it? If I get at least 2 people confirmed with me by 4th of November, I will book it for the November flea market.

When: 2nd Weekend of Every Month, Sat and Sun 4pm - 10pm
Where: Walkway Along MRT Line near Blocks 158, 159 and 162 Tampines St. 12

Rental per day:
$26.50 for Tampines residents
$36.50 for non-Tampines residents
(inclusive of $6.50 for electrical point)

The space of the stall is around 8ftx8ft.
You can choose which day you want to come.

Okay, I just called.

To add on...

1) Food & Drinks will NOT be allowed to be sold over there. (Cosmetics & others are allowed)
2) Tampines West CC(TWCC) will NOT be providing the tables and chairs.
3) RC will be there on that day to ask if we want to rent the tables and chairs. (TWCC said that around $3/day for tables. Will enquire again via email.)
4) I cannot choose the space that I want. ): Balloting by TWCC will be take place.
5) Flea is on the 21st & 22nd of November 2009.
6) If it rains on that day, NO refunds will be made.
7) Balloting will take place on the 19th of November.

For those into flea markets/bazaars

you have to pay daily rental fees, plan logistics to move all your things to sell for just 1-2 days, manpower to attend, etc....and after bazaar, your customers cannot locate you.

Why not consider something that u can leave expose to the public for months? and u don't worry about manpower, logistics, inventory, accounting?

Hi!

I am representing the Cultural Week committee at the National University of Singapore (NUS). We will be holding a Cultural Week, roughly around the 2nd or 3rd week of January 2010, for a 3 day period. During this event, there will be a small performance and a bazaar.

If you are interested in setting up a stall at this event, the price for the stall would be standard price of $60 per day (price is negotiable), and $50 for early birds promotion! The total stall space would be one 3ft x 3ft table and two chairs. You may bring additional chairs, luggages, etc. to display your items but hopefully not exceeding the size of the stall. The size of the stall can also be negotiated if needed. Also, the setup time will be 9am.
