Which brand is good Li-Ning or Yonex?

These two brands are the most popular brands in the field of badminton because of its high quality materials and technology used in it but what the factor between the two that make them excel from each?

for cost effectiveness go for Li-ning first, after u get the hand of it and develop your skill, find a racket thats suits your playing style.

Re: Which brand is good Li-Ning or Yonex?

Hi Friends,

Just a 2 cents comment. My experience is that the top brands are basically over-priced. There are many shuttlecocks that top brands OEM from manufacturer and sell it a premium price. It will be value for money to locate these OEM manufacturers and use their brands, usually they will have their own brand as well. Unfortunately these brands are not popular and not many website sells them mainly of the overhead costs, etc. I am constantly searching for OEM manufacturing to try out these brands.

Recently, found this site. "shuttlecocksonline.com". Got time check it out. I think I will try it out.

I would give my vote to Yonex because Yonex is the pioneer in making badminton racquets, and its quality has not been compromised since.

However, I would still suggest that you try racquets from both brands to find one that is more suitable for your level of play.

Re: Which brand is good Li-Ning or Yonex?

What makes them excel hmmmmm! Endorsements? Lol because these two top brands are used by world class players all over the world!

But to say which is better is really subjective.. This is because within each brand they have different range of rackets from the high ends to low ends, rackets for attacking, defending and more! So unless you're comparing one particular model to another, you can't really compare these two widely diversified brand easily...

For example you can't compare price because both brands have really cheap range as well...

If you are looking for high end rackets, Yonex.

4 me i mostly use yonex rackets and some "high end " rackets can really make you feel the difference as they are really light and the grip is good but then again it all boils down to skills as it is what makes a good player and not how good your racket is,unless your playing at tournament level whereby every advantage counts.

Depends on personal preference, I guess. Both are used by top players. For me, between the two, I'd prefer to stick with Yonex.

Re: Which brand is good Li-Ning or Yonex?

Yonex since it is a well-established brand... but no doubt Li-Ning is slowly catching up... but I am a all time Yonex user... I will give my vote to Yonex... also, I find Li-Ning rackets are pretty expensive... I am not familiar with their models as well... more familiar with Yonex

Re: Which brand is good Li-Ning or Yonex?

seriously, many players are no longer paying the extra just for some brand name. there are many unknown brands that produce rackets half the price but just as good nowadays. don't waste your money on yonnex if you can.....
