Buying Books and other stuff from Amazon

Hi everyone, I found this website recently that lets me buy stuff from Amazon.com. The website is called Tarazz.com and its kind of like VPost in a way but has a system that converts prices from US$ to Singapore dollars and adds shipping charges to the product page, so there are no hidden charges or isssues with currency fluctuations, very useful for a tech idiot like me. There are promos for first-time customers to do check it out, just want to spread the word a bit.

Amazon's shipping is expensive, yeah, but if you're like me and buy like 10 books at a go, Amazon is actually amazingly cheap as compared to local bookstores...

for shipping you can try out broaderlinx, however, only for citibank credit card holder

And the fact that it arrived a month later after they shipped it is really not worth to buy. Though I live in Indonesia, it won't be far different I think with Singapore.

Anyway, too bad this bookstore opentrolley.com.sg don't ship worldwide. It's seldom seeing imported book here. That's why I always spend much time in Border when going to Singapore.

Amazon shipping is rather quick. I regularly purchase books from Amazon and I normally recieve my books within 10days after they sent me notification of shipment. However, that is normally the case should the shipment not be delayed

I've purchased from Amazon a few times, but generally never have my items shipped to me directly. Generally, I use a forwarder, especially for things like books/CDs/stuff that won't ship out of the US. I've always found it cheaper to do it this way... I remember being confronted by a $45 shipping cost just to ship a CD and a book directly from Amazon? Though it was supposdly faster, but I'm not paying that much!

i've been using amazon + borderlinx
so far so good, nothing went wrong before, and the tracking system from borderlinx is amazing.
