Who invented is Ah Tiong thingy? which refers to china people.I don't see a link in it  . Ah beng= male gangster Ah lian=female gangster but Ah tiong=china personnel? no link at all lei

Tiong comes from the hokkien word Tiong Kok (China)!

anyway, as the above said, in the name, ah tiong, the tiong is taken from tiong kok, which means 'Zhong Guo (China)' in hokkien
