Ok last week, my friend, KY ate this mixed veg rice in the coffeeshop opp my sch (East View Sec).
Then he felt something weird in his mouth and he spat out the rice. Then he found this: 
We were shocked then discussed whether wna bring this up to Newspaper or whatever.
Last time I've also encountered the same thing from the same stall --
I found a baby cockroach inside the tofu! Then I took picture but it's dam blurry (my previous phone was 2Megapixels ==) and I just stopped buying from that stall.
Then we asked the stallowner to come over ...
KY: What's this ah? (he points to the cockroach legs)
Stallowner: Err... I dunno what is this. o.o
My another friend: Looks like cockroach leg..
Stallowner: Really meh? I dunno leh...
there was a silence... Then he saw a customer standing in front of his stall and he went off to serve his customer..
Then his helper just took that plate with cockroach legs away and threw it into the dustbin.
The stallowner and the helper are not from singapore..
I did record the conversation but the surrounding was noisy and a little unclear..
Now I'm waiting my friend to write a letter to SPH..

You can mention the fact that they are unhygenic in preparing the food...but the part about them being from PRC will be deemed as discriminating.
i once ate from a mix vegetable rice stall, and there were staple bullets among the rice, which one more worst? the stall holders are my fellow countryman, 亲爱的 Singaporeans...
so don't say things about if they came from PRC or wad... cos that might get your letter being discarded by the editor-in charge.
And i suggest you write in to xinming or wanbao or newpaper, most probably ST won't have time to deal with such issues.

Ate mixed veg rice once and found a dead fly inside the sweet and sour fish. Camouflaged in the same color, lucky I saw it.
