It was reasonably easy. Although I didn't understand that question on how the structure of a root hair cell helps it take in water and mineral salts.

for the root hair cell, i wrote things like how the extended part increases the surface area and stuff like that.

i thought the paper was average. some hard questions. but some easy to answer.

._. i only knew about tar and nicotine for smoking ): didn't think of carbon monoxide.

qn 1 is small intestine right? i go put jejunum... can or not ??

the one on sewage system. what the air for ah? so tricky. i go put is to attract bacteria to growth and multiply and thus eat up the harmful sewage particles.

for coronary heart disease
i say it is the clotting of blood vessel which affect the functioning of blood transport... can?



section B is challenging i took qn 6 and 7

qn 6b i got 2 m at most only know how to explain increase SA for absorption of water

qn7 b) i draw diagram to show the energy loss. so fun draw hawk ,tree caterpillar. xD

Nicotine cause inflammation which cause severe breathlessness. Tar cause lung cancer will affect the functioning / health of lung.

Hey, no, i dont think jejunum is wrong...easyyy??? I think I lost marks here and there already man for the first section, esp. the sewage and ratio question... The 23:7 question.. those were hardd!

oh i wrote

because the scientist experiment with few plants. outcome is inaccurate. larger number of plants = accurate result. the 3:1 ratio act as a guide only as the offspring are totally random in real life. Hope jejunum right lor T.T
