Study everything. Use the syllabus to guide you. Some of the more cheem stuff not in syllabus.

One piece of advice for you, do your Bio readings in the morning. You will be able to understand much better.

Well, if you really need last minute revision, use the syllabus and tick off one by one. That'll help loads.
If you realise, the things you need to mug are usually processes, characteristics or differences.
The rest you can omit, for a bit. But judging from the trend of the other papers in Nov 2008, i'm quite sure they might pick out at those nitty-bitty things that you would overlook in the textbook. So scan the syllabus like a laser : D
Don't forget the concepts, or you'll die in application questions.

Me never got at least a B for bio (well, B is for Bio).

C's (and D's) all the way from Sec 3 till now . Sigh.

Still left with 3 chapters (respiration, excretion, homeostasis)

I'm NEVER going to take Bio in JC. Ever.

Hmm, i was sorta enlightened at the start of sec 4 to mug for bio.

If you've been reading the bio textbook for leisure alot then it shouldn't be a problem cos the page & facts can roughly appear in your mind.

I've been getting A2s & A1s since start of sec 4, but i've ALWAYS failed in sec 3 lol.

From 4/20 to 16/20

There was one on designing some experiment which required you to choose a sample size or something.. if i'm not wrong. rusty already =/

i think im having information overload. Im still studying. i think once i read finish and close the book. poof everything forget. somemore i hate bio so much prelim 1 and 2 i dun know how i even got A2 for both.. ZzZ

Ehto neh, i feel that pure biology very easy when i try studying, but i've never pay attention in class everytime during biology, never attempt the homework nor read up the textbook, when i started reading the textbook for the first time yesterday, i feel so enlightened, but cannot finished the whole book

It's Plant Y. As it's a plant that's adapted to growing to shade, it only requires low intensity light to photosythesise well. The oxygen production max volume indicates that it does not require that much glucose to stay alive. A form of adaptation, sort of.

It can't be plant X, since they said "grown under shade", which shows low intensity light. But even in high intensity, the rate of photosynthesise continues to increase. This is out of the adaptation of that shaded plant.
For instance, you just experiment by thinking of putting plant Y and X in the shade... plant Y will obviously have a higher chance of survival due to natural selection.
