Re: Dying the hair

I love my natural color and I love to see the natural color on other people too. Sure, on women sometimes the gray hair make them look way older, but it's a choice they have to make at that time.

Re: Dying the hair

I dye my hair but not with permanent dye. I non permanent dye for some reason permanent dye takes my hair and it breaks it really bad. I recommend that if you cant condition your hair at least twice a week then you shouldn't use permanent dye.

Re: Dying the hair

I've recently dyed my hair with Liese Dark Chocolate. I had virgin black hair prior and this dye didn't make a really drastic change which is something that I really liked. It's usually only noticeable by others under light.

Re: Dying the hair

I've only dyed my hair once, less than a month ago, I think. Some sort of brown. Idk what's the exact name of it. Before that, it was black. I think the next colour I may try will be some sort of reddish-brown.

Re: Dying the hair

I think it's pretty trendy to change hair color, I personally like the color of mine (black), but some women do look better when they dye.

Re: Dying the hair

I had black hair and I really wanted to dye it for a change. I love trying new things and it seemed the opportune time to start afresh with a new image since I hadn't met my schoolmates yet then. I ended up dyeing it reddish-brown, and while I didn't exactly expect how I would look, I can say I'm quite pleasantly surprised. It's great! I'll be trying other colours in future.

Re: Dying the hair

I dye my hair regularly, and in what some would call "crazy" colours - I was blue, green, orange, red, white-blonde. I am currently naturally brown because of a job, but I'm planning on dying my hair pink or purple very soon

Re: Dying the hair

I haven't dyed my hair since I was 13 yrs. old. During that time, dyed hair was the fad. Now even if I have lots of hidden white and gray hairs already, I still haven't dyed my hair yet. Maybe when they become obvious I will dye my hair.

Re: Dying the hair

I prefer the original color of my hair which is a little brownish. I would only dye my hair if I would see lots of gray hair already. I hope that it will not be sooner since that could mean I am older too.

Re: Dying the hair

My natural hair color is black, so I can't really dye my hair any other color, unless I bleach it out, which severely damages the hair. So I guess I'll stick to my natural color.

Re: Dying the hair

My natural hair color is medium blonde, to me it looks like a very blah no color. I go to a salon to get it lightened to the almost white blonde I had until I was a teenager. It used to be a long process of single process followed by highlights and a few lowlights to keep it looking natural. I switched colorists and now the white blonde looks natural and only requires a trip to the salon once every 6 weeks for highlights.
