Face/Eyebrows threading

Hey folks,

have you guys tried threading? Either for the eyebrows or the face.

If you tried it for the eyebrows, which do you think is better? Threading or plucking/shaving?

And if you did it for the face...er any difference after that? Because the facial hair on our face are vellus, meaning they can't really be seen. So, is there any use to it? Say maybe make-up glides on smoother or something?

And please recommend any places that does cheap and good threading?

Thanks.

Re: Face/Eyebrows threading

I'm interested to try. I heard they use two strings, swishing and swashing across your face.

Some say it hurts, but some said the pain is...shiok. Haha.

There's alot of traditional threading in little india.

Re: Face/Eyebrows threading

I remember it can be a bit harsh for sensitive skin, so I never got down to trying.

Re: Face/Eyebrows threading

Well from what I heard, your face will be a little red after threading and if the strings are not clean enough or new, it might cause breakouts instead.

Re: Face/Eyebrows threading

I tried eyebrow threading, they're faster and cleaner then plucking.
Face threading haven't done it because i don't see a need to.

Rupini's good with threading. It's @ Midpoint Orchard i think.
