Hello People, my classmates and I graduated from ITE College East (Simei) with a Nitec cert with GPA less than 3.5 and we went down personally to Ngee Ann Poly admission office in February to submit our application for Direct Admissions Exercise for ITE students.
But guess what, we got rejected by two young staffs on duty, one guy and one girl telling us that we cannot submit as they ask if we have sat for n or o level which we said yes as we sat for n level but not o level....so they say we cannot apply becoz we got n level but the website on np clearly state without n or o level but they still reject us despite us telling them about whats on the website....
Me and my friends got piss off and we went to apply to other polytechnic....and at nanyang poly also got the same DAE for ite students and also state without n or o level and we manage to submit our applications to NYP with a photocopy of our n level cert and ite certs etc...
So to all the students out there applying for poly...please make sure you double or triple check each time you apply for any admissions exercise....i just emailed np to check if can send in late application and told them about this matter....dunnoe weather can apply for the dae still or not....and the problem with the two young staffs is they never even bother to check with their superior or other colleagues weather we can apply and just tell us cannot....how professional they are...

mine is also nitec less than gpa 3.5
i email NYP they say they dunwan me T.T
i didnt even try NP cause they never even write ITE students can apply...did they?

That time my friend tried to apply for NP too, during the open house.. they told him that with GPA 3 confirm can come in the course he wanted but end up kenna rejected.

Very common la, my brother was told that he confirm can get into the course although his GPA is 3.2 but then end up kana rejected, that's why admin staff always like to BS alot when they don't even know what is the requirement like

Guess what gpa, Republic Polytechnic rejected me in JPAE i was like wad the hell....u go RP website see their cut off points so easy to get in but then they reject me......now waiting for them to look into my case coz i appeal to them....

aiya NP always like tat one.. tat time DPA to NP but kena rejected by them (i got into nyp instead), then send one letter to me saying sorry tat cannot accept me etc, damn sarcastic lah..
