so there has been a favourite band thread.
just wondering to know which is your favourite jrock artist
that means it is only one person, not a band.
you can post up pictures and a simple bio of that artist.
hmm. want to know my cool jrock artists XD
i shall start first. 
Name : 松本秀人 Hideto Matsumoto (hide)
Projects involved: yokosuka SAVER TIGER, X JAPAN, MxAxSxS, hide with spread beaver, zilch
D.O.B - December 13 1965
R.I.P - May 2 1998
i guess this artist does not need much introduction. charismatic person with totally different characteristics during his solo and during his X JAPAN concerts. his solo albums are worth checking out too. they are of my pop-rock and not as heavy as X JAPAN.

But for a long time now I have a tender spot for Sugizo (ex LUNA SEA), Kamijo (ex Lareine) and Kaoru (Dir en grey). ^^;

oh can name more than one artist? that definitely makes my life easier..
kirito (ex PIERROT, current solo, Angelo) is definitely one artist I have continued to obsess over for a really long time, even though I don't particularly enjoy the overly blatant anti-christ themes in the latest Angelo release. I suppose it was his style and vocals that attracted me to PIERROT in the first place, and somehow he had this inherent charm that made sure i continued to keep up with his activities XDD so thats one done
and since I like vocalists a lot, here are a few others. Isshi of Kagrra, Atsushi from BUCK TICK (<333) and Aiji (LM.C, ex PIERROT)

is an awesome band. very 90s Vk Jrock ala VK dir en grey or anything of that period. highly recommended. XDD I totally fell in love with them after listening to their album.
