I understand that some of you have had bad experiences with participating in sprees here on SGC. As such, I would like to get more feedbacks on your general experience with the sprees conducted here on SGC.

While you might have encountered bad experiences, I hope you will consider all the sprees you participated in SGC as a whole and not just a particular bad experience before you give your feedback.

Here on SGC, we try to give members greater reassurance by requiring the personal contact details of VSO. We try to allow as many spree organizers as possible in order to give everyone the greatest selection and variety. But of course with that, comes greater risk of bad organization of sprees by inexperienced VSO. It is a trade-off.

Anyway, hope you can give you honest feedback and look at ALL the sprees you have participated as a whole and give an average rating. Tks.

So far, it has been good, but it would be better if the spree organiser can update more regularly like at least once a week even though there is no update, spree-ers still need some assurance since some of us might be spree-ing for the first time.

Up to date, I've participated in Taobao spree only. One organised by Reiko (damn good organizer) and the other one by Suki`rabbit (not that good).
1st spree I participated was with Reiko, she's responsible, reliable and efficient. Because of Reiko, she gives me a very good impression so I continue to participate in Suki's, but it's disappointing and I regretted!

Suki's taobao spree 9 opened since 29 Mar and closed on 4th Apr. After a month, without any updates, she shocked us by telling us that there's a change in rates from 0.22 to 0.23.
I seriously feels that everything shld be written clearly (black and white) in the first place, but she didn't and now she blames it all on the agent (happens on her recent sprees).

Almost 2 months!!! I've paid up for my goods, for my shipping and now...she's still dragging...

I know what you mean. She used to be more active last time.

I'm in her Blythe Zoo #3 and #4. But generally, TW sprees are extremely slow in restocking so I didn't bother to chase her for the items. I joined her sprees mainly because she lives near my area so it's easy to arrange a meet up with her even with short notice.

I gotta learn abt these sprees as a merchant i was reading some of the threads where the shipping took so long. Can i just check where the items were shipped from?

Which one? For Taiwan, shipping just take 7-10 working days to reach. It's the restocking that's taking a long time.

Blythe Zoo #3 and #4 take 3-4 month to receive or it will never receive right? i am regretting order Blythe Zoo #4 from her. $17.08 is a small amount to me although I can wait.

#3 was closed in 17 Mar, #4 closed on 7 Apr, do expect a 2 months+ waiting time.
She also did state that she will update only when there is an update though it's still best if she can just update once a week, even restocking also just update with a restocking status to assure the spree-ers. By the way, she is current away from 11-15May, so we should be expecting updates from her from Saturday onwards. Sometimes, just got to be patient with TW sprees.

How bout changing of rates? Although it's not alot, but I still feel that whatever is written in black and white counts and you can't wait till everything is cfm-ed then you update your spree-er the change in rate right?
In fact most of the organizer of Taobao is still using 0.22. What makes her/her agent so special to use 0.23 instead??
And fyi, Taobao is a China spree.

First off, I would like to make my point clear that I am not defending any of the VSO here, as I do not know of which agents or who their agents are, all you spree-ers can do if you are not happy with any VSO is just ask he/she for the proof / screenshot of payment transactions, conversation or even email exchanges with her agent (please note that this rule has been applied with effect from 8 May 2009).

All the rules and regulations are posted in this thread under the Shopping Sprees section. The additional new rules will applies for sprees approved from 8 May 2009 onwards.
