Field Camp..

honestly.. what to expect for field camp? i only know i mentally prepared for being f**ked deep deep when we are shag to make us even shag.. and lots of powder.. any guy have useful tips or experience to share?

Field camp over 2 weeks ago!

1) The new LBV is very, very hot. Be prepared for temp to fly up to 38.8-39.3 degrees. Happened to me.

2) Shitting. Some ppl not comfortable with the idea of having 2 pass their motion in the forest, and having to dig a hole to do it. Be prepared to hold it in for 5-6 days if you're one of them.

3) Heat rash. Ask ur buddy to spam on your back. If not will regret after field camp.

4) Leopard crawl. This is one of the worst. But suck thumb. Will be very difficult esp on rocky roads. But endure!

5) High kneel. As aboove.

6) When digging shellscrape, it'll be hell. Dont be afraid to ask for a change of site if your area is full of rocks. If not, you'll be digging like hell. Same for ur ET blade. Make sure it's really, really sharp.

7) Ration your water. Dont gulp down beyond the point of thirst. Sip by sip. If not, you'll run out of water real fast.

8) Help one another.

yeah.. its really very hot..

i am planning to hold it all the way.. unless i really can't take it anymore :S

Shellscrape is your own grave. When u prone down, they shld only see your muzzle and helmet.

Field camp is supposed to be 6 days, but for my case, the place we're going to use on the 6th day is under renovation. So 5 days only \m/

TS, it's ok to have Tekong cough. I'm having it now too. Had it for 3 weeks alrdy. See MO also no use ==

hug ur rifle when u sleep
ur sgts will try to kop ur rifle

if got ask for volunteer to do saikang that involves going back camp do go
u might get a chance to use the toilet back in camp

shellscrape is supposed for u to sleep in
so must be big and deep enough
try to find those spots that have been dug and filled b4

depending on which coy u from the tekkan can be quite bad lol

There's a number attached to each rifle. So they'll ask everyone to fall in, then those w/o their rifle go one side.

I know for my field camp, those whose rifle got stolen had to do some shit while chanting, "I'm fked up, I cant event protect my wife"

they usually dont take whole rifle if u got some kind of protection (ie hug it to sleep)

they will take the blank attachment or the washer
so hug it with one hand covering the blank attachment

Depending on unit ba...
If infantry, or so-called rifle man, you might need to dig self-script... A hole in which you need to dig, (2 rifle + a small area for bag pack for the LENGTH.... and 1 rifle for the BREATH... Thickness/deep of it is about 1 bayonet depth.... =)

Depend on situation, you might need to dig the deep big hole too... Cant forget the name of it though... But the depth of it is 2 human can stand inside, with just your head pop out... So just imagine how deep is it...

Secure your rifle... Use your rifle sling to sling around you when sleeping... And use black masking tape to secure your nozzle, and other rifle parts, even bayonet... =D Some sergeants if cant 'steal' your rifle, will steal the parts, especially the nozzle.. or call blank nozzle for the tip of your rifle de..(Sorry ROD too long le..cant remember the name =X)

Dun use snake powder for 'powder bath' especially if going Brunei or what... (Best is dun use snake powder...) You can use the SAF powder though... but definitely not snake powder.. Why? Yes.. Its indeed cool feeling, and shiok.. but it will attract 'snakes' and 'centipedes' too... Imagine wake up with snake/centipedes on your bodies... (that's how my friend kanna bitten while in Brunei) =D
