just a little feedback for the northpoint hongkong cafe tht some reccomanded. i went with my bf after you all say it's nice. but what i get is not as nice as the hongkong cafe at ehub(downtown east.) the fish and chip suck as it's dry in the inside. plus it smell like the oil had been use too many times that the fish turn into a darker brown. the guo tie(fried dumpling) and ha gau(prawn dumpling)'s skin is so thik and hard and dry it doesnt taste nice at all. place an order for peanut butter with condense milk and half an hour have come. check with the stuff and they key the table number wrongly. but one thing i can say is that, the manager is nice. we spoke to him abt the food and he offer to void all for us.(the bad taste one) and we order another soup noodle(i should say the instant noodle). it taste nice. the manager kept on apologising to us and pay more attention to our oder after that. lol. and the rest of the waiter and waitresses dun dare to come near our table. maybe we are too fussy. but we got the customer rights right?

actually i liek the macau hk cafe thingy at east coast.. its suberb... thn upp thompson tong shui... al ahzar at bukit timah, fyi al ameen sucks now lol.. al ahzar alot better on the same stretch of shops.
Ochimata89 added 0 Minutes and 45 Seconds later...
carl's jr at eastcoast big spash is onli open till 11 plus if im not wrong but drive thru 24hrs.

There are a few too I would recommend :
1. 7 Eleven : Ting with microwave (spagetti, instant noodle , lasagne ) shiok
2. Xin Wang (a few branches in Singapore , I've been to East coast road) but some only open up to 2am. http://www.xinwang.com.sg/restaurants.htm
3. Taiwan porridge , last time in Kallang near stadium but shifted to somewhere liao i think in pasir ris.
**psst psst , anyone know where to find similar diner like Dennis 24hr (I crave for the country steak deep fried ) , it's closed down and cannot find any similar liao..

If you stay in the east there's Sin Hoi Sai (if i remember the name right), a zichar place at mountbatten road, just beside the 5star chicken rice place. The Buttered Calamari there is fantastic.
