Hey everyone.

I just broke up with my guy of 2 years. I couldn't deny that we broke up due to an absolute unnecessary quarrel which let into the big meltdown.

Well, to make things short. At first, the both of us avoided each other. Won't talk.

But i decided to step up and meet him face-to-face. I know that i'm like the girl but i couldn't allow myself to just sit around and wait for a miracle to happen.

When i met him, he was pissed off. Saying that he hates me. bla bla bla.
After we calmed down, he said to me that we could start off as friends first.
I really don't know what to think of that. I mean, i am glad that we are on talking terms but I ask myself for how long should i wait until we patch things up again?

Though we are now having conversations and sms-ing each other, it just feels weird.
There's a sudden difference, being unable to say 'i love you' when we want to hang up the phone.

I asked him if he's still angry about our fight, he said yes.
I asked him if he still cares about me, he said yes.

But, just that a part of me wants us to be together again.

Help me. Thanks.

From the post given above, feel that he just want to be friends with you after the break off...
Perhaps during this time, treat it as 'freedom', and think for yourself, if you really want to continue with him... If your answer is still yes, then try to win his 'trust', love, etc back...

if you love him and also he loves you..
why not?
sometimes it have to tolerate a bit,

i m not sure wat d fight is abt --> but take a step back & ask urself wat cause d fight? --> wat actually trigger him into his anger & to d extent dat he actually put d relationship into d frenz phrase?~

if u really like him & wanna b with him --> tink abt d fight & whether there will be another one in d future again & whether things will be back to square one~ --> & whether he still wanna give things a try~

jus two scenarios (both true):

fren A - each serious fight she had with her bf --> her bf will always say lets be frenz since it's so difficult to get along with each other~ as times passes, my fren jus simply gave up~

fren B - a huge fight resulted in d two of them in cold war & no longer on talking terms - but my fren knew it was her fault & she approached d bf --> angry he may be, but he still ultimately cool off & they are still together till now~

jus my two cents~

Maybe you can just apologize ((since u sounded like u want to be together and one party has to give in)) and say can we try again?

Of course, it may not be suitable for the girls to do so, some might argue. But again what century is it now?

if both still loves and care for each other, why break off because of unnecessary quarrel? if your quarrels allows the both of you to understand each party better, den it will not lead into the path of break up. patching back isn't an advice answer but you can if you want to. but a broken glass will still have its scars on. so... do think carefully and consider each aspects. it'll make a huge difference.
