Where to go for car servicing? Am I being over charged right now?

Car model: BMW320i

These are the services done, and their prices:
Service Engine Oil 5W40 Castrol and Resetting (6Ltr) [$180]
Change Oil Filter [$24]
Change A/C filter [$65]
Change Air filter [$55]
Change frt brake pad and sensor [$165]
Change 2 frt break disc rotor [$220]
Auto oil trans (7Ltr) [$240]
Labor charges and diagnosing [$120]

Total bill: $1,057.00

Well, is this the standard price charged elsewhere or am I being overcharged? Do y'all have any servicing shops to recommend? I'm not being stingy or what, but really, I just don't want to be cheated..some of my friends have quite negative opinions of this shop, what do y'all think?

If u can drive a BMW, u can afford to go performance motors for your servicing...

Btw, BMW has a special forum http://www.bmw-sg.com/forums/register.php

For me, I ride bicycle everywhere I go...

What service interval was thi (how many kms service?) some things look like they are around 30,000 - 50,000km items.

Oil is on the expensive side, oil filter is reasonable. A/C filter, not sure of the pricing, but looks expensive. original air filter is reasonable, brake pads are on the expensive side if OEM, cheap if original, not sure what are the brake 'sensors' that need replacing, usually there's no such thing. Brake rotors are cheap, auto trans fluid is expensive, and labor charge is ok for that amount of work done. prob should be around 100.

some things depend if the parts are original BMW or OEM ones.

All original parts? Seems okay le. Anyway I drive a Merc E250. I go to CnC service center for servicing. If I don't change anything at all, it is about $500. If I change the brake disc and brake pads, It will cost me almost $2000.

Last time got Star Black but they closed down. You can go to MBM for car servicing.

I understand how you feel. Sometimes it is getting value for your money. Just because we drive a nice car doesn't mean we deserve to get chop. For certain items, you can get direct from stockist and get your mechanic to install for you. I only spend less than $1000 doing it this way for my brakes and brake disc. That means I saved $1000.
