Really like this forum, everyone is so helpful. And now is the time for me to contribute..

I saw many people ask about Hong Kong, so I would like to post some useful websites and share my experience with you all. If you like this post, please let me know

Official website of HK- you can find many useful information , special tour, museum in HK, they even provide some funny classes to tourist, so don't miss it!

Restaurant guide in HK - restaurant search engine for local Hong Kong people, you can set the requirement and search the restaurant you are looking for! You can even give comment to the restaurant and you can see the best restaurant voted by HK people on internet. Sorry it is in Chinese only.

Of course there are a lot of nice restaurants are not on the list, and the restaurants on the list didn't mean that it "must" be good, just for reference only.

For the night life, bar and pub I like to go to Lan Kwai Fong.

SHOPPING
Except Tsim Sha Tsui, MongKok, Causeway Bay, there is one place called HONG KONG INDUSTRIAL CENTRE (in Lai Chi Kwok MRT exit C ), not many people know about it, but it is a REAL paradise for shopping. Because it is a place supposed for wholesale only. Many boutiques in HK buy from them! Fashionable and cheap(of course if you buy one the price will be higher than wholesale)! And it is in ground floor only, because upstairs are the offices of the garment company. Pay attention , open until 7 and close on sunday, no fitting and pay by cash only.

i so wanna go to hong kong again to shop at the streetmarkets and malls...if i ever have the chance, haha. coz the last time i went there for a connecting flight trip, i only got to go to victoria's peak and times square.

peak is a must go, and if you have time, go to the Kowloon side...the feeling will be different

ah yahz.. initially is gng with my friend de lor.. dan she backed up at the last minute, so i brging my mama along, the air ticket, accomodation i pay'g for her... cant' brg to myself to asked her pay for it.. treeat it as a belated mother's day gift

no nd to communicate in cantonese over there de.. most of the HKG ppl will also communicate in chinese de

Hong Kong people also speak very good english.

Other than their accent, if not it's pretty easy for most.
