Very accessible by their "MRT" train, if you know how to speak their language even better.

i just came back frm Hong Kong about 2 months ago.. And that was my 3rd visit =)

I really liked it here, the lifestyle & shopping & good dim sum ! But the people are quite loud & rude and can barely contain nonsense.. Well, thats not the point anyway.

Disneyland
I recvd alot of bad reviews on Hong Kong Disneyland frm my colleagues & friends who have been there. But for a 1st-timer, the disneyland was great & i totally love the fireworks ! too bad i didnt stay over at their the disney hotel because it's quite costly. if you like fairytales & the cute disney characters, this is the place for you !

Shopping
Shopping in Kowloon is cheap. you'll find alot of bargains.
Shopping in Central is expensive. it's like going to orchard road, you see boutiques and high-fashion shopping malls. but the clothes are abt the same price as what you find in singapore..

Food
Im not lying. but good food is everywhere !!! =)

Clubbing
Lan Kwai Fong rocks ! it's 10 times more happening than singapore's holland village & boat quay.. the beer is also cheaper than SG. they dance in pubs, its not like SG, KARAOKE style.. everyone just sit, drink & sing horribly lolz.

I'll definitely go there again !!

I recommend to go in summer instead of winter ( unless you wan try cold season )
many Beautiful winter clothes if you go in dec =D

Nice food is always all around the season =D

I just got back from a 4 day trip to HK.
Don't. Go. During. Summer.
So freaking hot and keep having intermittent showers.
The good thing was because of the rain, queues at Disneyland were like 5 minutes!
Getting a room at Disneyland Hollywood Hotel was worth it as we stayed in the comfort of our room eating dinner and watching fireworks from Disneyland. Really impressive.

Food was really really good.
I had the best dimsum of my life at ladies' street on the side nearer Langham Place, @ a shop with a huge golden "cha" (tea) word. My fiancee and I ate until we wanted to die and our bill came up to less than SGD$20. We went back there the next day.
Xu Liu Shan dessert store (all over Kowloon) serves the best fruit ice desserts.

Speaking of Langham Place, we stayed at the hotel there and it was a very good experience. Super comfortable and the service was top-notch.

Shopping-wise... nothing is really cheap though, unless you like to bargain for far-east plaza style of clothes. I did manage to get a really cool Zara jacket for SGD$80 though (usual price SGD$180+) from their summer sales.Their Esprit outlets were having good sales too and the clothes there somehow look better than those sold in SG.

go during Sep-Oct is the best time, weather is better for singaporean. Not too hot and not yet cold. Most impt is there are post summer sale~ u can still buy summer clothes

Of coz FOOD is the best thing! Must keep eating and walk alot during shopping time

Went Hong Kong during their summer. They're having great summer sale like great Singapore sale. However, they have more varieties on sale. Hong Kong is a great place to shop

Probably in the early 1990's.. During the Shopping Sale around August was good and the "Magic" is almost gone during this time..

Also back in the early 1990's, it was truly a breathtaking experience landing into Kai Tak International Airport rather than the new Chek Lap Kok International Airport..

I stayed at Langham Place too! The hotel room was gorgeous, considered spacious compared to other hotels.. But I din see the dim sum with a golden "tea" word though..

Miss HK and the foods there! Love all the cha chan tengs there.. Yummz

Remember to visit LFC building if you're a big fan of Agnes B!
Granville Road @ Tsim Sha Tsui offers lots of more affordable range.
Nathan Road Pioneer Centre (if i'm not wrong) for Streetwear/ Underground brands!

Will definitely plan to go back to HK again!
Awesome food and everything!
