Good time for Bieber to retire? His new film flops at box office

Good time for Bieber to retire? His new film flops at box office

After a year full of controversy and backlash, it may not be a big surprise that Justin Bieber's new documentary film, Believe, flopped at the box office.

Believe is Bieber's second documentary film, after 2011's Never Say Never, reports The Straits Times.

The latter enjoyed a strong opening, raking in US$29.5 million (S$37.4 million) in first weekend sales, whereas Believe only earned US$4.5 million in its first five days.

This comes right after Bieber announced on his Twitter that he is "officially retiring". He later took it back, telling his fans, "I'm never leaving you."

Judging from the lack of enthusiastic response from his fanbase, maybe Bieber should shy away from the limelight for a while.

According to a report in The New Paper, the 19-year-old Canadian pop stars new album Journals, which was rush-released digitally two days before Christmas, limped into the Australian chart at No. 35 this week with just 4,067 sales.

After the documentary became success, he took back his words.

Hope he retires and never come back to the music industry. His musics cause my ears to bleed.

There are some good ones.

But most of them are always complaining or bitchy about something.

Re: Good time for Bieber to retire? His new film flops at box office

i used to find baby baby okay....
then people started to call him a sissy...
and i was neutral.
he can be badass all he wants....
but surely he has to treat his fans right....
now they have stopped supporting him...
