Good Weight Loss Foods

I am looking for some good weight loss foods, not including vegetables and fruit. I'd like to keep carbohydrates to a minimum, but still feel full after each meal. Do you have any suggestions?

Re: Good Weight Loss Foods

You look

I eat lean proteim in the morning .. it keeps me full throught the day.
For weight loss , its simple calories in vs caloris out. You can eat wholemeal or multi grain stuff to keep you full.

Re: Good Weight Loss Foods

Lean protein in the morning. Okay, that's something I haven't been doing. I have been eating fruits in the morning and using hard boiled eggs as protein, but I'm not staying full. Multigrains, I was always concerned that that might be too many carbs, but okay, I'll give it a try.

I've looked and tried different foods, but I'm not feeling full, which is why I posted here. I wasn't trying to waste your time. I have a feeling I'm not putting the right kinds of foods together that are right for my body. I can always do what everyone else is doing like I've done in the past, but I'm starting to think my body doesn't metabolize food like everyone else, besides the fact that I'm on several prescription medications.

Thanks for posting!!

breakfast should be ample as its the most important meal of the day so some carbo is essential.

Re: Good Weight Loss Foods

WhiteSpade and oldvirgin, thanks so much for the link and the advice. I think I just forget because I am so used to eating what ever I see first. I have this mindset of what I think should be eaten, instead of what really should be eaten. I'll do some further research. Thanks for trying to set me on the right track!! I know a post like this will help other people like me.

Re: Good Weight Loss Foods

Fruits and vegetables are good foods for the weight loss purposes but you don't like to take these foods for your weight loss.
Here are some other suggestions for your weight loss foods, you can take green tea, coffee, fish , fish oil, nuts, and some protein foods for your weight loss.

Re: Good Weight Loss Foods

i cut out all carbs if possible, but i am only doing this WITH PERMISSION FROM MY DOCTOR because i have a weak digestive system due to my eating disorder (binge/purge, heard of bulimia?) and carbs causes me to bloat easily.
i eat loads of fruits to keep me through the day.
but once i see the weight on the scale increase, i cut out foods and drink green tea and pure black coffee throughout. lol. or water.
hot water fills you up, cold water speeds up metabolism.
almonds are good.

Re: Good Weight Loss Foods

calories in and calories out is equal, means maintaining. calories in more than out means u put on weight. calories in less than calories out u exhausting ur body and at the same also loss weight( unhealthy).
eat per as normal and healthy, right amount of exercises or a little more daily to minus a little calories which already in store in body as fats each day. having a unhealthy and unbalanced diet only spoils ur body.
daily increases of excercises that u need not need to find time but u still can continue ur daily chores and work as normal are, climb stairs up and down the MRT instead of taking escalator, alight a bus stop earlier and walk home, take a walk or stroll in the park after dinner instead of lazing in ur couch watching tv, etc. a little less tedious exercise per day makes a difference accumulated. Still eat healthy.

Re: Good Weight Loss Foods

With though I am schooling right now, I only eat breakfast at around 12pm.
I just recalled something. My uncle lost a good weight from drinking cinnamon + honey tea
. The trick is to drink it right before bed on an empty stomach and drink the other half first thing the next morning.

Instructions how to make it is on google.

By lean protein, I mean chicken breast . Close to zero fat.

Re: Good Weight Loss Foods

It's not that I don't like fruits and vegetables for weight loss, it's just that they are already incorporated into my diet. I just wanted some ideas of what else to add that would help me get full.

Okay, almonds and hot water. I hadn't thought about nuts. Are there other types of nuts that I could add that aren't too filled with fat and salt? Yeah, I should have mentioned I have some exercise limitations. So I have to restrict my diet. I have some back injuries. So I have just been prescribed by my physical therapist to walk 5 to 10 minutes a day, 5 days a week for cardiovascular. I do a PT routine once or twice a day, but it is mostly for stretching and to build the muscle back up in my back.

Gottcha on brewing the tea.

Thanks so much for all the suggestions. These really will help, I'm sure of it.

nuts like almonds are good.

Other studies have shown that replacing carbs with almonds in a weight loss program leads to greater reductions in body weight and BMI, waist circumference and fat mass.

Thanks oldvirgin, almonds it is.

Alberttee, I watched the videos and will be messaging you with some further questions. I'm always a little skeptical about programs/products like these. I hope you're ready. Thanks!!

Re: Good Weight Loss Foods

See, that was my issue too Ambrose123. I guess I'm not the only one having difficulties staying full throughout the morning to lunch, but thinking multigrains were a little too much carbohydrates. Having to limit my exercise has been really troublesome. However, when I went to the doctor today, I've lost 10 lbs in the last month, so I must be doing something right.

Thanks everyone for your helpful hints and advice!!

Re: Good Weight Loss Foods

Raw veggies foods containing more fresh fruits and green vegetables are more useful for the weight loss purposes.
Drinking more water and fresh fruits juices can also be very helpful for the weight loss.

Can consider Green tea or lemon water.
I were drinking lemon water (for detox) over a period of time. My friends said that I lost weight.
