Guidelines for posting in sub-forums

1. Members are allowed to create a topic/thread and post questions in the Subjects Help sub-forum.

Topic/Thread titles are be in the following format:

[X-YYY] Title of question or type of help needed
where X is level, Y is for subject.

Eg. [O-AM] represents O level A-Maths.

Examples of the full thread title will be :

[O-AM]How to differentiate logarithm functions?

[O-CH]Need help in writing balanced ionic equations

Abbreviation list:
O - O level
H1 - A Level H1
H2 - A Level H2
EM - E-Maths
AM - A-Maths
HM - A Level Maths (Higher Maths)
CH - Chemistry
PHY - Physics
EL - English Language
CL - Chinese Language
SS - Social Science
LT - Literature
GEO - Geography


2. Number the questions when there are 2 or more questions.

3. Post the full question to avoid missing out of information.

4. Quote the question before supplying the answer for easy reference.

5. Please attach images when necessary for clearer explanation or illustration.

6. We are human and may make mistakes at times. Making mistakes is part of learning. Please just take it as everyone's learning together and there should be no flaming.

7. Student facilitators' role is to facilitate the learning experience in the forum. From time to time, facilitators will help in answering the questions. Approach the facilitators if you encounter any difficulties or have suggestions and feedback.

8. Posting of threads for the purpose of advertising and sales of tuition services, study-aid products, notes, assessment books/papers etc are strictly not allowed.
Repeat offenders will be warned and appropriate actions will be taken by moderators and admin.
