guys tends to go for something beautiful which is pleasent to the eyes and gets excited :love4: while girls goes for materialistic indulge which may make them proud and secure.so can't blame girls who goes for rich guy and guys goes for pretty girls:handsup:

but seriously i tend to see better looking guys/girls with not so good looking guys/girls. i seldom spot both better looking ones together.
ultimately, i think if the guy/girl doesn't have a great personality, they will still break off. haha.

I perfer a guy who loves me for who i am then how i look.
If you get these type of guy as your boyfriend.. What if he say someone even more beautyful, he will just break up and go with that girl... =="
stupid people who are like that!

Girls who goes for rich guys.... there is no love in that relationship at all. he girl is in love with the money. I cannot imagine myself marring a guy just for his cash -.-"

Girls also go for aesthetically pleasing men or things since we love pretty stuff. As for material, I think it's normal for a girl to want her man to be able to have a stable income if it's a commitment she's looking for. But be aware that that's not the only criteria for stability. Ultimately, it is also the actions of the guy that gives the girl a sense of security.

Rich guys (not all)tend to be 花心，but we can't blame them. Coz they can afford to give what the gals want and have the criteria to be 花心loh.

For gals who are used to the or wants high standard of living tend to look for rich guys loh. Is a normal phenomenon loh.

I totally agree with pple saying that this type of relationship won't last loh.

that depends on what each person wants from a relationship... if u r looking at marriage, then of course it wont work....

but for some people, they are just looking for some fun... hence i can understand why the guys go after the pretty ones and why the girls go for the rich ones...

i rem reading a book that says that men looks for diff type of women for diff purposes.... and vice versa... the criterias for bf/gf can be different when compared to the ones for husband/wife

well i dnt think that statement holds true for everyone and even so, those relationships based on looks and wealth alone are unlikely to last long. Sooner or later, these relationships will just break down.

Not so true, maybe those type of couples or ppl do exist, but not for me definitely...

I dont like guys who like a girl cuz of how they look & i prefer a guy who love me as who i am, interested in me cuz of my personality or characteristic, and so do I. I only interested in guy who has a personality that i feel i can be match with, and someone who can makes me feel comfortable.

I never fall in love or deeply attracted by any guy before im having a relationship with him, and i believe 'love' can be developed in any relationship even if the guy/girl no feeling at all at first...

erm... i quite agree with what u mentioned.. gals r like "no money no talk", while guys r like "no chio bu no talk"....

haha... but this is just my mind-set la... different people will just tend to think differently...

Agree with this.

The guys love pretty girls idea could be linked to the evolutionary theory whereby the hunters in the past are actively on the lookout for pleasant girls to spread their seeds since they are responsible for procreating proactively. Pleasant girls for them indicates fertility. So if a girl looks porportionately beautiful, it could mean they are capable of breeding good babies too. (Ok what kinda theory but that's the way the evolutionary theory came about).

Similary, girls need their babies to be well taken-care of, and that usually translates to a need for a male who are financially stable and capable to tide her through the pregnancy and the delivery of the new-born.

So all in all, we are selective about our mates because of the possibility of offspring. =)
