Which Gym Fitness Centre U normally go?

If U were given a choice to choose below, which gym U rather go? Why?

U choose it because of the BEST equipment? Their Customer Service/Ads/Poster? Or ya friends ask U to join? Or the facilties?

Singapore Sports Council? (SSC)
Fitness First?
California Fitness?
True Fitness?
Sky Fitness?

Usually got to the gym at woodlands.
Forgot whats the name of the gym but its a short distance from the woodlands mrt.

If i have a chose, i wont go to any u listed out except for AMORE.
Cus i work for them before

And i heard alot of bad reviews abt California Fitness

im joining on my company sportclub. cheaper than out site gym.
my friends recomend me to join fitness first, he said their gym like pro.

For me my I go to SSC. It's just $2.50 and U can use it all day long. I've been to Jurong East SSC Gym and Jurong West SSC Gym...not bad..Jurong West SSC Gym bigger...Been to Woodlands SSC Gym before..loved the design and layout of the gym. My friend suggested me to join one of the fitness centre aboved.

I'm still considering...lol...

Usually will be in sch and occasionally is SSC or SAFRA. SSC is cheap but usually crowded. SAFRA is big with many eqipments but exp

yeah...agreed. I'm a SAFRA member too. Go there for swim and use their other facilities. I tink SSC is way better but crowded. lol..

well, SSC gyms might be crowded specially at the Jurong East gym. However, majority of the regulars there are really friendly

i am with cali for few years... so far so ok lor..
if u really plan ur schedule well, try to join the classes available and have fun..

Used to go SSC with a friend but then stopped after moving house. After that bought some weights to do at home lor, but then no machine cannot do some of the stuff leh. Go alone to gym very sian so never go

Anyway got one fren used to work at cali said the equipment there quite complete, but must stay away from the trainers if you don't want to get talked into a pocket burning programme (he's a trainer himself).

The rates quite shocking sia

... for that kind of money i can get 1 to 1 training sessions with qualified fitness instructors in the privacy of their own gyms already, some more I was told many of cali's trainers are not certified in sports science and to give lessons, so i steer clear lor.

Then again, forums got a lot of horror stories about the policies of the mega gyms so...

Juz for ya info..be careful in the following gyms:

California Gym - ( Already Like A Gay Gym Hub. One of my friend share a story where a guy keep staring at him and stuff when he doin his weights....even in the shower....juz be careful. He scared of goin there again..)

Fitness First - ( Juz be careful too in gym)

True Fitness - (You already can tell when you go there...juz be careful again...)

For me, my choice is SSC, safe, cheap and great facilities.

Neighbourhood gyms are crowded, but they also allow your wallet to remain crowded.

Private mega gyms are spacious, but they also help your wallets to become spacious

Seriously, private ones tend to have better ambience, better equipment, and the stuff is usually also maintained in better condition.

It's the biggest SSC gym in s'pore and also the most crowded =.= espically at around evening times i get very frustrated with the number of ppl there

oh damn...like that cannot go there after my work. Guess have to go to the one near my house, but it sucks imo.
