Hair treatment?

I have recently cut and layer my hair. As my hair is v fine, it tend to curl alot esp at the ends. I thot of doing rebounding but rebound will make my hair looks too flat. Anyone can suggest any hair treatment that will straighten the hair and yet wouldnt make my hair too flat....????

Re: Hair treatment?

Actually those shampoo that tried to make ur hair straight also weighs the hair down. Rebonding is probably the only way to straighten it but since u mentioned that you've layered your hair and the texture is fine then it might be hard to keep it straight.

You can still consider rebonding but try to ask them to do it 2 inches away from the roots. Then blow dry to prefer it from curling too much.

smoothing, so it will be done without straightening iron, the effect will last for about 1-4 months.Depending on your hair length.
If you considering hair treatment, I suggest you to use hair mask for dry/brittle hair or damaged hair 1-2x a week. And use sleek serum or shine serum then help with some blow dry with fingers and hairdryer.
But, it's the best to do smoothing.Or maybe setting perm, it won't look curly or too wavy, it's all yours to decide the result.

Re: Hair treatment?

anti-frizz serum is styling product, for intensive treatment, you should use hair mask & serum for dry/damage hair

smoothing is one of hair straightening technique that exist, if rebonding using the straightening iron then smoothing no. But, the product is same.
So, one straightening product can be used in 2 techniques, smoothing & rebonding.
Smoothing effect only last for 2-4 months, and it is for curl/wave relaxing, reduce the volume, smoothen hair surface. But rebonding is more permanent, and the hair will become poker straight/dead flat, super sleek, but it will last for 3-12 months.
Maybe in every salon they have different name, for smoothing or rebonding. But either smoothing/rebonding still chemical process, and so u will need to do home treatment, using right shampoo, conditioner, hair mask, serum for your hair afterwards.

Re: Hair treatment?

I think it will be easier if u get a straightener and iron it urself rather than spend money to go to salon...

Re: Hair treatment?

ya i've to admit that rebonding is a very great option` but pls go for very good rebonding and make sure you really really take very great care of it ` else after a few months there will be signs of '' fried hair '' frizzy , dry , splint ends and all sorts of unhealthy thing can happen ` all the best !
