Why secondary schools dun allow boys with just alittle longer hair like say long fringe to enter??? Does hair got to do with your discipline? if thats so people with neat hair wouldn't even drop out of school.... Its our preference why would they wanna control wads ours?? Who on earth would wanna make themselves look ugly??? Does it really matter that much ? after all we are still going to keep our hair after secondary school... If todays societ is ok with long hair thann i think schools should compromise...

its a school rules and therefore u must follow
even when you grow up for work or even ns . there rules and hair cut is a must when u have a long hair .

because if at first rules start relaxing the part on the hair, slowly it will extend to other parts, maybe uniform or what. end up people will become more concerned about their appearances instead. it is like schools also don't allow girls to wear colored bras. same de ma.

eh......you are not supposed to have de la....my school de is white blouse de ma....if you wear bright orange and pink or what very obvious. although is not allowed people still wear, at own risk la....

I dunno what is it with students not wanting to follow rules. I mean, at least they don't make all the boys shave their hair or the girls cut their hair to those 'mushroom' style right? Just learn to live with it. Having your hair just a little shorter won't kill you.

the probelm with it is that my hair i cut till its short 2 weeks later its back again short i mean its really short... and worst of all its spiked itself!!...

My school used to be barber... but no one pays the barber so the school stop now discipline master... but i think he stopped? haha not sure been a long time since i saw ppl got cut... cause too many long hair le....

having acceptable hair length is an example on how the school wanna projects their impression to other ppl on the streets... students havin long or untidy hair, ppl may find the sch pretty no discipline, no gd etc etc... ppl lik to comment on bad stuffs seen but kip quiet when they c smth gd... typical singaporean... |

i gotta agree with revile that hair length should be relaxed... for guys it is really very sad.. after schooling got NS, then during reservist also cannot have long hair. imagine i can only keep long hair like, 30 + yrs old? i wonder if i still have hair then..
i think if dun too long should be allowed. hair, especially fringe. is everything to a guy.
just like girls like to put makeup, guys like to style their hair.
