history elective o levels

Gosh i need some desperate help now..
I'm pretty confused about the factors for the causes of war in asia pacific, reasons for attack on pearl harbour and reasons for attack on manchuria

Please help me check if the factors are correct

Reasons for attack on Manchuria - Manchuria has resources etc, great depression, failure of Diet/democratic govt, rise of militarism

Reasons for attack on Pearl harbour - poor relations with US, cripple US navy, Japan's foreign policy, failure of League of Nations, rise of militarism? (im not really sure about this whole essay...)

Causes of war in asia pacific - Japan's foreign policy, failure of League of Nations, rise of militarism, Japan's neutrality agreement with Soviet Union, undefended colonies in asia pacific

Also, can poor relations with US be used for causes of war in asiapac?
And is there a difference between rise of militarism and the foreign policy?
Oh do we need to know the reasons for Japan's invasion of China?
Is Japan's foreign policy related to the military making decisions without approval from the government?

Kindly help me please
If possible, can someone post the detailed factors for these 3 essays?
Thank you in advance!

Re: history elective o levels

I might not be correct about these:

Failure of League of Nations is one of the cause for World War II in Europe
Militarism and Expansionism policies are one of the causes for the war in Asia

One of the objectives in attacking Pearl Habour is to cripple American fleets and aircrafts so that they will not interfere with Japanese advancements into Southeast Asia

Also, colonies in Asia are not undefended, but poorly defended as the countries who rule these colonies are more engaged in their own war in Europe

no lah, Japan have the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere concept to free Asia from colonizing powers.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greater...sperity_Sphere

Hitler is the 2nd anti-christ foretold by Nostradamus.

Many of Nostradamus' prophecies refer to the coming of a shadowy figure known as "Hister". A great portion of Nostradamus' writings are devoted to this mysterious figure. Nostradamus was known to play word games with the names of famous persons in order to confuse those attempting to interpret his prophecies before their time. The word "Hister" is thought to be a combination of the two words "Hitler" and "Ister," thus providing both the name and place of origin of Adolf Hitler. "Ister" was the Latin word for the Danube River in Germany, upon whose banks Adolf Hitler was born.

There are many specific references to Adolf Hitler in the Centuries that do indeed seem to represent actual historical events surrounding his life and career. The three following prophecies represent typical examples of Nostradamus' specific references to the life and career of the infamous Nazi leader:

NOSTRADAMUS QUATRAIN #2 - 24

Wildmen ferocious with anger, crosssover rivers,

The greater part of the battlefield will be against Hitler;

In armor of steel they will make the great assault,

When the child of Germany will heed no one

Re: history elective o levels

^ Wow, suddenly link history to prophecy

If you bother to read the wiki link, the Greater East-Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere was a propaganda. And if I can recall correctly, it appeared in the textbook Crisis & Conflict under Japan's foreign policy.

An essay question on attack on Manchuria is highly unlikely to come out since it's not one of the key topics in the syllabus http://www.seab.gov.sg/oLevel/2011Sy.../2192_2011.pdf.
