aiyo... I cannot relax at all there's why I throw my temper.
When the people arounds me do thing that I dun like, I'll just show the angry face and throw temper at them. Is there any other method to calm down?

lol same as my mother.. u try not to get so worked up la. if they do thing u don like tell them nicely . it will also improve relationship between u and ur frens. or u can do medidation i saw in a magazine tat medidation can help u calm down

ya, another way is that u wait until the air cooled down den u voice out. else both parties all angry will get u both to no where.

Try taking deep and long breaths to calm yourself. If you're afraid that you're going to throw your temper at others, before you are even able to do so, walk away.

hey sakura... how to medidation? does it really cure? are you christian or buddhism? cos i want to ask if you are a buddhism then you must have gone to guang yim thim b4 at victories street, there is some ppl sitting there and medidation. Is that the way?

I used to have a superhot temper and I showed my super-pissedoff face immediately when I see something I don't like or whatever pisses me off. Then I decided to "detach" myself from everything, became more "anything lor..." and now temper not so bad. But actually most of the time, we get angry and all coz we are too affected. just dont be too affected? haha, sorry, bad advice? just sharing!

Anger is not something one can handle. Self control is very important.

If you are too angry to think rationally, remove yourself from the situation.
Give yourself few minutes alone to cool down.
Take few deep breaths and think of other things to calm down your mind.
Return to the original situation and try a different approach.

I fully agree what you are saying. Most of the time I'm affected then xiao liao..... my face will really like charcoal. hehe.....

I tell myself that throwing temper around not only make me more angry but causes stress to people around me. Neither does it solve the problem and I may lose my temper much easily as time goes by. Taking up hobbies that require patience tends to help me and constant reminder that staying calm will allow me to solve my problems better.

haha. Sometimes i throw my temper also. but not that serious like every thing i see bu shuang. I got a "friend" i help her pick up the money cuz the wind blow then i crush the money ma cuz my hand react too fast. I return her, her face immediately turn black. Duno why la. lol. lame sia lidat also angry

haha i have a hot temper too

it gets so bad that i just breakdown

and the other party would be like "wut? eh sorry la... eh..."

but like suitcase kid,

now i'm more "anything lor"

even when i HATE any idea suggested,

i'll be like "anything lor" and when things get BAD,

i'll be like "you see~ told ya! HA~!!"

v bad but u'll feel satisfied.

I used to be quite hot-tempered too but i learnt to 'choose my battles wisely'. If the particular issue isn't very important to u, let it go.

Another way is if you feel yourself getting angrier as you argue with ur loved one, take a deep breath and excuse yourself from him/her as calmly as u can. ( "Give me a few minutes alone plz, i cannot talk about this now"). Then go somewhere alone, close ur eyes and take deep breaths as u count till 20 or 100 whichever u feel is enough to let urself cool down.

Frankly it is hard to maintain self control while getting angry. The best way is to be AWARE when is the moment you start becoming angry. Then u can do smth to keep your anger from spilling over
