for grammar all this,just need more practice...
i do not mean vocbulary..
i mean the speaking part......
but i have a big problem for the language part......
not looking for tutors.........

speak more, speak to those who are really good in english and ask them to correct you
reading more might help, i find that it does not help to majority of my friends

well..speak more english language,read up more on newspaper or story books
not sure about others..but tt's wad my teacher always told us.=)

i try speaking to my friend.....yea my friend will correct me....
in the end,as she is weak in chinese,she will say lets say chinese instead.........

You mean vocabulary?
Whatever the case, use English more often. Start online. Type in proper sentences with proper grammar and punctuation. Once you get more fluent, everything will be fine.

Read, read and read.
Read published books and newspapers.
Avoid speaking in bad English just because your friends and family do.

If you want to look up grammar rules, you can use mla.org (Modern Language Association) and apa.org (American Psychological Association). Also, you may want to find it useful to purchase a book called the "Bedford Handbook," which teaches proper English speaking and writing. The Bedford Handbook is used to teach proper English in the U.S., though.. a lot of Americans also have poor English haha.  | |

As cliche as this sounds, practice makes perfect.
Read books, articles and if you have to, imitate how these writers go about writing their essays/texts. That's how I got started. After that, when you have comfortable grasp of grammar and vocabulary (personally, I'm not someone fond of reading up proper grammatical terms just to brush up the grammatical aspect of English but I'm someone that loves reading texts which are grammatically-certified affirmative), you can start practicing and writing out your own essays or your point of views for certain current affairs around the world.
If your wondering about the oral aspect of English, you might need to speak more and in time to come, you should be more fluent with it.

i remember last time got this cambridge guide thingy...maybe u can try find it
if u r worried about speaking part, i suppose u are worried for oral part...like most people say, u should practise speaking english with those who speak english more
find a time to cut the singlish and speak proper english for a lil' while...esp near your examination...aft u r done with english, can go back to speaking singlish with those u feel more comfortable communicating with  | |
