I can say that my maths is not so good . Is there any ways to study maths and score well?
Some of my friends say by practicing and my brother say remember the formula .
So which one is better to score well ?
Secondly .
I really fall in love with science . How do I remember and memorize those science stuff ?
Highlighting the key words and remembers or after reading the topic do a mind map and gather up notes so that it is easier to memorise .
Need help :]

MATHS!
seriously i hate numbers..
maths you have to keep practicing and practicing.. there is no way where you can just read off the text book
science..
by highlighting them
and find keypoints.. no use rememorizing the whole book.. try to find the keypoints .. and memorize them
o ya and science is "dead" subject..no use practicing it |

thats cos i did like twice the whole of tys.
erm for science. i think the most impt thing is to understand the concept. for physics especially. must understand den no nid to memorise! but for formulas its a must to rmb. u can try to do papers and write out the formulas only if u wan to memorise the formula. den after that practise problem sloving by really doing those problems. |

Need help :] | math just do finish the TYS!!! cambridge exams always v no idea one, the same kinds of questions will keep coming out. at most there'll be one or two new ones but that's about it.
science - err memorise wholesale? mindmaps never worked for me, but it depends on how yr brain works i guess
i used keep writing until i memorised the textbook word for word. easier than sifting through the useless from the useful - everything also swallow. LOL. |

Only can say practise make perfect... Do more questions on those that u are weak in. Must understand the logic of d formula, not memorising them by hard. Cuz even if u rem the formula, u put in the wrong number u wld oso get the wrong answer. Think no point memorising formula. Arent formula provided?

Math: practice and more practice. but of course, you need to remember the formulae. for me, i practice until the whole book nearly fall apart (i sec 3 very lousy in A math. next year in sec 4, i trashed the whole sch in a math for every single tests and exams). on my big day, i just memorise the formulae, 'cos i already know how to do all the questions, and know how to tackle all types.
Science: ehh, yours' is combined science or pure science? i took pure for all three sciences, so don't know format of combined science... you need to pay attention in class, understand your stuff. you can do flowcharts or mindmaps to help you link the topics together, because most topics are inter-linked. you have to be flexible and know how to connect between the topics because cambridge papers won't test you one question solely on one chapter only. they combine the chapters and topics into one question, so it's vital for you to understand how they link...

for physics, think is formula bah to calculate those energy given out or etc. |

For Science, it's the understanding in order to remember the logic.

example (might not make sense, since you don't take bio, i presume)
bacteriophage attaches to cell membrane of bacterium | contracts contractile to insert genome into cytoplasm of bacterium | genome fuses with host genome, forming a prophage | host cell undergoes fission as per normal
something like that...
