Invest in upgrading yourself financially. Go for courses, investment training etc.

i think the proper term is to learn how to save.
and what package offer higher returns in short periods. at least more interest than bank deposits

yea. be ready to at least commit for 5-10 years if u are going for insurance investments.
if u are ready to commit for this long. u should be able to make a profit out of ur investments
to know more its good to meet up with one of the financial consultants hanging ard in the forums =)

its good to think about investment at your age. you can start investing by buying good classic investment books and invest in yourself. Save up until you get enough capital to invest. Dun waste money on those savings (endowment) that is sold by mrt insruance agents. those investment linked also got product if not usecorrectly

build up ur knowledge n develop a investment/market sense....
books r good....
gettin a financial adviser 2 help u will b good but b cautious cos many r jux insurance agents or plain sales persons....
if u like to experince, u can look for some virtual stock game online...
it s a platform where u play wz virtaul $$$$ in a stimulated real mkt condition....

insurance okay la... young age u get low premium for investment linked policies. but as u grow older u pay for ur mortality oso.
for traditional plans u pay a slightly higher premium compared to investment plans for the same coverage but its a flat rate. u will stay at that amt when u are old.
its quite even out =p
ILP gives u a "discount" when u are young and charge u when u are older.
traditional policies gives u a flat rate for mortality charge from the date u start.
