ios7 draining battery life every minute

My battery life is reducing every minute after I updated to ios7 (IPHONE4).

I have switched off notifications, deleted apps, reducing screen brightness & etc but the battery life is depleting every single minute. (It wasn't this bad when I was using ios6).

Any suggestions on this issue?

Re: ios7 draining battery life every minute

Hey.

I've turned on "reduce motion" to prevent the phone from adjusting my wallpapers.
(General, Accessibility)

My friend did mention about the reduced charging speed of the phone, and it got better after turning off "Background App Refresh".

I left that on though since GPS locating services will not work if you turn that off and that your application falls into background mode.

I hope it helps a little?

I used to charge my phone once a day, but now I have to charge it at least twice a day.

Thanks, as I'm using iphone4, I do not have that "reduce motion" option. I've switched off Background App Refresh, and charging my phone for the second time today...

ios6 was so much better.

Re: ios7 draining battery life every minute

Is it because of all the new features that are draining the batt life minute by minute?

I dont really like the features and how they look to be honest. Prefer ios6.

I do like how ios 7 make things look really fruity and colorful. The battery problem and the bug that allow people to call others without unlocking the phone is troublesome.

My main issue with Apple is the battery life. They are emphasizing too much on the design that resulted in using smaller batteries. Hopefully the future iphone will resolve this issue.

Totally agree. Don't you just prefer ios6? The battery could last so much longer. Theres still a bug right?

Re: ios7 draining battery life every minute

It is true that the updated IOS 7 drains the battery life faster than any of the previous software. That's one reason I don't like the update. I believe the only thing you can do now if turn off the 3G or 4G internet speed and change to 2G, which is EDGE. However, you can always turn back to 3G or 4G when you want to use the interest at a fast speed.

You charge the phone 3 times a day after upgrading to IOS 7? Wow! That is a lot because I have heard the IOS 7 does drain the battery life fast, but not as many times as you do. I'm sorry to hear that? How do you like the IOS 7 besides the battery life?
